We have been busy, busy, busy creating lovely one of a kind pieces of art to share with you. There’s been a lot of starting and stopping and going back to the drawing board. I believe that the hardest feat for an artist is to truly trust the process. To keep going when you make mistakes or when you do not get it right the first time.
I find when I am trying to make a certain piece or when I am fighting the creative process to meet a deadline or achieve perfection is when I find myself in an artist block. But when I let go of all expectations and allow art to lead and unfold the way it is meant to magic happens. There is a sense of wonder when my own hands take a blank canvas and turn it into art. We were preparing some product for an upcoming event and as we were working though the trial and error and things started to develop right in front of us, I could not help but have a larger than life feeling. It was as if the joy I get from making art was coming to life in front of us. There was a sense of purpose and meaning that filled the room. It was that moment that I knew I had arrived to exactly where I was meant to be. As an artist, I have always philosophized that I wanted to make things even if nobody cared. However, as a human who wishes to see change in the world, I want to share love and light and peace that I have in my own life. What better way to do so than creative arts? About a year ago, the idea for Some kind of Nature thing was born. Each piece is hand crafted and made by the artists including the printing process. Some kind of Nature thing’s purpose is to awaken your wild heart and release your free spirit. My wish for you is to find your passion. Remember you are loved. Accept yourself and remember you are enough. Embrace this one beautiful life that you live and catch those dreams of yours. Wander often and Wonder always, friends.
