Founded by Sarah Reagan & Ryan Summey, Some kind of nature thing is artwork for the curious. The adventurers. The lovers of the earth. It was created for the wild hearted and the free spirits. The celebrators of nature and love and peace. Each piece of art was born from a place of love and adventure. From the first brush stroke to digital editing and  printing, we have hand crafted each piece ourselves. We believe that our love for life, nature and each other shine in our art. Our hope is that you, too, receive love and light from our creations & pass it along.

Sarah Reagan: founder, artist

From the heart of the Smoky Mountains, Sarah grew up surrounded by all things nature. As a child, Sarah spent her time making and creating; which remains the same today. Sarah is a self taught artist and specializes in  water color; but enjoys working with all media including oil, charcoal, gouache, acrylics and graphite. Sarah enjoys being in nature from the mountains to the sea and she applies this passion to her artwork. Her desire is to share peace,  love and light through expressive arts.

Ryan Summey: co-founder,  web design & development

Ryan grew up in the mountains of North Carolina. However, it is by the sea that he feels most at home. Ryan is a software engineer and is passionate about his work. Technology is ever changing and evolving and Ryan spends much of his time learning and evolving his craft as well.  In addition to moral support and unfailing encouragement, Ryan is responsible for some kind of nature thing’s web design and the behind the scene work that goes into digital reproduction and printing  of each painting.
